Mayser is an international company with core competencies in the sectors of headwear, foam technology, moulding and safety technology.

The origins of the company go all the way back to the year 1800. As a manufacturer of high-quality, modern hats, Mayser has earned an international reputation as a leader in quality, which today also applies to the production of sensors for safety technology and the manufacture and finishing of foamed materials. The Mayser story is an example of innovation and successful change.

Portfolio:

With the four business divisions, Mayser's product portfolio is more than a “hat-trick". In addition to headwear, a mainstay of the company's success, the technological areas contribute significantly to our growth today.

In terms of turnover and employees, safety technology has become the largest business division. Thanks to their innovative strength, the foam technology and moulding divisions have opened up numerous promising areas of application and play an important role in shaping the future of the Mayser Group.

is the basis of our success, customer satisfaction is our top priority. So that our products meet current and future requirements in all areas, we continually subject tasks we are assigned with to a critical examination and put new ideas into practice. Initiatives for continual improvements in quality are supported in all areas. Thus we can guarantee that all products, systems and solutions comply with the quality standards and the applicable standards and directives.

The quality management systems of our business divisions are certified by the TÜV to ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Research and development:

Approximately 6 % of our annual turnover is invested in the research and development of innovative products.

Employees:

The motto “Innovative by tradition” demands of our employees a high level of initiative, creativity, and sensitivity to the needs of the customer.

This includes an environment which promotes innovation; this is supported by Mayser with the relevant scope of action and continual qualification measures. Mayser currently employs approx. 600 people. As a company which takes on trainees and a partner of the regional universities and Cooperative State Universities, Mayser trains more than 20 people at the locations in Ulm and Lindenberg in various commercial and technical professions.
